熱帯アメリカにおける住血吸虫のホスト巻き貝；マニュアル

もはやどうやって捜したかよく覚えていない書籍です。Amazon.comから買ったのは確かなのですが、去年の８月に注文して、受け取ったのが１１月頃でした。

これによると、Biomphalaria glabrata (Say, 1818) の基準産地はカリブ海のグアデロープ島とされており(Pilsbry, 1934)、西インド諸島の島々やベネズエラ、スリナム、フランス領ガイアナ、そしてブラジルに分布するとのこと。ただし、m-urabeさんの日記id:m-urabe:20060401によると原産地はアフリカだと考えられているとの話し。マニアックなこの本も出版されてからすでに20年たっているし、近年の研究から分かったのだろうか。

追記；また指摘を受けてしまいました。アメリカがオリジンというのは疑わしいと書いてあった(Pointier, 2001)。そこで引用されている文献は以下の２つ。その要約を読む限り、マンソン住血吸虫がアフリカから来たのは分かるが、Biomphalariaについては微妙な表現になっていると思う。ちゃんと以下の２つの文献読まなきゃ。
